I was really happy.Shortly after that I realized that every time I right click on any Windows file, folder and shortcut, I get a Windows Installer popup saying 'Preparing for Installation.' and there is no way to stop it other wait for like 30-40 seconds. I ran some tests and realized that the server was faster now. So, I went ahead and deleted all of them, knowing I have the registry backup. I checked many of them and realized that Registry Cleanup was right.
It indeed found many broken registry references. May have Screwed up my Windows 2003 Server.Īfter doing a Registry backup I, I ran Registry Cleaner that I had on my machine for about 2 years.
